SHUTTER MENU
Adjusts exposure time of each frame captured by the MYSTERIUM sensor. Shutter speed presets are
available for all common speeds (and corresponding angles) at 24 / 25 fps and 50 / 60 fps.
Preset shutter speeds may be adjusted using the RELATIVE and SYNCRO shutter parameters.
GENLOCK
References shutter scan start time (phase) to an external Tri-Level Sync genlock signal. For 3D and multi-
camera, permits scan time and scan phase of all cameras to be matched. To select: Use joystick to high-
light GENLOCK checkbox. Push in or down on joystick to place checkmark in GENLOCK checkbox.
GENLOCK ICON
When GENLOCK is checked, a PADLOCK icon will be displayed at the top of the EVF, LCD and all exter-
nal monitors. An external GENLOCK signal generator will need to be connected to the GENLOCK connec-
tor to allow full use of this feature (refer to GENLOCK under APPENDIX D: INPUT/OUTPUT CONNEC-
TORS).
- If the PADLOCK appears on its own as shown above, the camera is Genlocked. This means the shut-
ter start time is referenced to the external Genlock signal, so multiple cameras recording the same
scene will be capturing their individual images at the same moment in time if they are all Genlocked to
a common reference signal.
- If the PADLOCK has a red circle and diagonal bar through it as shown below, this indicates the sensor
is not Genlocked. Check that the Genlock signal generator frame rate is equal to the project TIME
BASE and / or the cabling and connections are correct.
NOTE: When recording at multiples of Genlock input frame rate, the EVF, LCD or any external
monitors may not indicate Genlock.
